Sacroiliac Joint Injection

The sacroiliac (SI) joints are located where the spine meets the pelvis, connecting the sacrum to the iliac bones. These joints help transfer weight between the upper body and legs.

An SI joint injection is a procedure that delivers local anesthetic and/or steroid medication directly into the joint to:

• Confirm whether the SI joint is the source of your pain

Activity:
